First human test of new eye injection for blinding condition
NCT ID NCT07230834
Summary
This is an early-stage study testing the safety and side effects of an experimental drug called pozelimab when injected into the eye. It involves about 54 people who have geographic atrophy, a condition that slowly damages the retina and causes vision loss. The main goal is to see how well people tolerate the injection and to measure how much of the drug stays in the eye and bloodstream.
