Eye fluid clues may guide uveitis treatment

NCT ID NCT07262437

First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study examines whether proteins in eye fluid can help doctors choose the right immunosuppressive drug for people with non-infectious uveitis, a type of eye inflammation. About 220 participants who haven't responded well to steroids will provide eye fluid and blood samples. Researchers will measure 14 different proteins to see if they match with how well each person responds to standard treatments.
