NCT ID NCT07118254

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study tests whether an eye drop containing a natural lubricant (rhPRG4) can safely and effectively relieve dry eye symptoms in people with ocular graft-versus-host disease (oGVHD), a complication of stem cell transplants. Fifteen adults with moderate to severe dry eye will receive both the active drop and a placebo in random order, each for 28 days. The goal is to see if the active drop improves eye surface damage and symptoms like dryness and burning.
