First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study tests whether draining fluid from the lower spine is safe for people with severe traumatic brain injury and high pressure inside the skull. About 30 adults aged 18-65 with specific brain scan findings will either get standard care alone or standard care plus the drain. The goal is to see if the drain can safely reduce dangerous brain pressure without causing harm.
