First seen Feb 04, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study reviewed medical records of 169 cancer patients who had blood clots and took blood thinners for at least six months. Researchers wanted to see if continuing a lower preventive dose works as well and is as safe as the full treatment dose. The goal is to find the best long-term approach to prevent new clots and bleeding in these patients.
