NCT ID NCT07567157

First seen May 07, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study explores whether a special type of writing, called compassionate expressive writing, can help people living with or after cancer feel better emotionally. About 50 adults who have experienced body changes from cancer will write for 20 minutes in four sessions. Researchers will compare this to standard expressive writing to see if it boosts self-compassion, quality of life, and overall well-being.
