Summary
This study tested a new vaccine called ExPEC10V to see if it is safe and can help prevent infections caused by a type of E. coli bacteria outside the intestines. The study included 836 adults aged 60 to 85 who were in stable health. Researchers gave different doses of the vaccine and monitored participants for side effects and immune response to find the best dose for future studies.
