Robotic suits tested to help spinal injury patients walk again

NCT ID NCT07036107

Summary

This study is testing whether a wearable robotic exoskeleton helps people with recent spinal cord injuries walk better than standard rehabilitation therapy. Researchers will compare the two approaches in 80 participants over 8 weeks. The main goals are to see if the robotic therapy improves walking ability, balance, and independence while also reducing costs and the burden on caregivers and healthcare staff.
