Summary
This study measures exhaled carbon monoxide daily in 220 adult ICU patients for up to 7 days. The goal is to see if different patterns of this gas relate to serious outcomes like death, kidney injury, and how long patients stay in the ICU. Participation involves only breath tests and data collection, with no change to standard care.
