AR glasses make exercise fun for obese teens

NCT ID NCT06170853

First seen May 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 23, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study tested whether exercising while wearing augmented reality (AR) glasses could improve health measures in obese teenagers aged 10-19. Twenty teens were split into two groups: one exercised with AR glasses three times a week for 12 weeks, and the other did not. Researchers measured changes in body mass index and blood markers like leptin and irisin to see if the AR exercise made a difference.
