Summary
This study looked at whether a supervised endurance training program can improve exercise capacity in postmenopausal women who experience unexplained shortness of breath. 43 women participated in the program, which involved cycling tests and monitoring of heart and muscle function. The goal was to understand how menopause affects the body's response to exercise and to find ways to reduce cardiovascular risk.
