First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study looks at whether supervised exercise can improve recovery in people who have had surgery for esophageal or gastric cancer. About 171 participants will be assigned to high-intensity interval training, low-intensity continuous training, or usual care for 8 weeks. The main goal is to see if exercise improves cardiorespiratory fitness, which is a key measure of recovery.
