NCT ID NCT07075367

First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study tests whether a 12-week exercise program that targets the trunk, hips, knees, and ankles can improve symptoms and quality of life in people with diabetic peripheral neuropathy (nerve damage from diabetes). 64 adults aged 45-75 with type 2 diabetes and nerve damage will be randomly assigned to either this full-body exercise program or a standard leg exercise program. The goal is to see if the more comprehensive program better reduces nerve pain and improves balance, fear of falling, and overall well-being.
