Can a workout routine beat cancer fatigue?
NCT ID NCT03421782
Summary
This study tested whether a 12-week exercise program, with or without online therapy, could reduce feelings of extreme tiredness (fatigue) in men with advanced prostate cancer. 126 participants who were sedentary and reported significant fatigue were randomly assigned to either exercise alone or exercise plus an online cognitive behavioral therapy program. The main goal was to see if these non-drug approaches could improve participants' energy levels and quality of life.
