Summary
This study looked at whether a program combining exercise and nutrition advice could help adults over 65 who have sarcopenia (age-related muscle loss) and metabolic syndrome. 168 participants were randomly assigned to either the combined program or standard medical care. Researchers measured strength, walking speed, muscle mass, and quality of life at 12 and 24 weeks.
