NCT ID NCT05366075
First seen Aug 07, 2026 · Last updated Aug 07, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether simple or more comprehensive exercise programs can prevent physical decline in older adults during a hospital stay. Participants will be randomly assigned to one of two exercise routines or usual care, with exercises performed daily until discharge. The goal is to see if these programs help maintain physical function and independence.

- simple or comprehensive multicomponent exercise programs
- What this could lead to
- If effective, these exercise programs could help older adults maintain independence and physical function during and after a hospital stay.
