Study finds both intense and mixed exercise boost health in older women
NCT ID NCT07302191
Summary
This study compared two exercise programs to see which better improves health in sedentary, obese women after menopause. Fifty-eight women were randomly assigned to either high-intensity interval training, a combination of strength and endurance training, or a control group for 12 weeks. Researchers measured body composition, heart health markers, and stress indicators before and after to see which exercise approach provided greater benefits.
