First seen Apr 29, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study looked at whether adding aerobic or strength exercises to standard physical therapy can better reduce pain and sensitivity in people with chronic jaw disorders. 51 adults with jaw pain and nociplastic pain (widespread sensitivity) participated. The goal was to see if these exercises improve pain thresholds and jaw function better than physical therapy alone.
