First seen Jan 21, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This early-stage study tests a single injection of CR059, a new RNA-based medicine, in 9 Chinese adults with type 2 diabetes. The main goal is to check safety and how the body processes the drug. Researchers will also measure its effect on blood sugar and immune response. This is not a cure; participants will still need ongoing diabetes management.
