NCT ID NCT06324838
First seen Jan 18, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study is for adults with Crohn's disease who need surgery to remove part of their intestine. It compares two surgical methods: the standard approach versus one that also removes nearby fatty tissue (the mesentery). The goal is to see if the more extensive surgery reduces the chance of Crohn's returning at the surgical site one year later. The trial will enroll 204 participants in Denmark.
