First seen Feb 17, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study tests a new approach called extreme bipolar androgen therapy for men with advanced prostate cancer that no longer responds to standard hormone therapy. The treatment combines a drug that blocks testosterone (darolutamide) with high doses of testosterone itself, aiming to confuse and kill cancer cells. The trial enrolled 51 participants and measures how long the cancer stays controlled without worsening.
