First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tested a special lens implant (EVO+ Visian ICL) to help people with nearsightedness, farsightedness, and age-related blurry near vision (presbyopia). 47 adults received the lens in both eyes. The goal was to see if the lens could improve vision without glasses or contacts. Researchers measured how well people could see at different distances and checked if the lens stayed in place.
