First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study tests a new topical treatment called Ev.FV for people with dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa (EB), a rare genetic condition that causes fragile skin and painful blisters. The treatment uses tiny particles from cells to help wounds heal faster. About 20 participants will apply the gel to their wounds, and researchers will measure how much the wounds close and if pain improves.
