NCT ID NCT07328022

First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study tested whether a combination of two drugs (etoricoxib and betamethasone) works better than just one drug (etoricoxib) for reducing pain in people with tendinitis, bursitis, or synovitis of the shoulder, elbow, knee, or ankle. 89 adults with a recent flare-up (within 7 days) took either the combo or the single drug for 14 days. The main goal was to see if the combo provided greater pain relief during movement, while also checking for side effects.
