Shock waves or splints? new study aims to ease trigger finger pain

Summary
This study compares two non-surgical treatments for trigger finger: shock wave therapy (ESWT) and wearing a splint (orthosis). About 40 adults with moderate trigger finger will be randomly assigned to one of the two treatments. The goal is to see which approach better reduces pain and improves finger movement over six months.
