Summary

This study examined whether the time between shock wave treatments for kidney stones influences kidney injury. Fifty adults provided urine samples before and after three treatment sessions to measure two kidney injury markers (NGAL and KIM-1). The goal was to find the safest interval between sessions to protect the kidneys.
