NCT ID NCT06303557

First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a nerve block (ESPB) given before lumbar spine surgery can lower the amount of strong pain medicine (remifentanil) needed during the operation. 60 adults having elective back surgery took part. The goal was to see if the block provides better pain control and more stable vital signs during surgery.
