NCT ID NCT07582640
First seen May 14, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study will compare two types of nerve blocks—ESP block and TAP block—to see which provides better pain relief after a cesarean section. Sixty women having a planned C-section will be randomly assigned to receive one of the two blocks. The goal is to measure pain levels, how much extra pain medicine is needed, and overall satisfaction. The results could help improve recovery and reduce opioid use after childbirth.
