New study tests safer ablation for AFib patients

Summary

This study looks at how two different ablation catheters affect the temperature of the esophagus and the risk of injury during treatment for atrial fibrillation. About 30 adults with paroxysmal AFib will be enrolled. The goal is to find which approach is safer for the esophagus.
