New hope for tough esophageal cancers: adding radiation to drug combo before surgery
NCT ID NCT07272291
Summary
This study is for people with a type of esophageal cancer that did not shrink enough after initial treatment. It tests whether adding a low dose of radiation to a drug combination (toripalimab plus chemotherapy) given before surgery can be more effective. About 48 participants will receive this new combination, then have surgery, with some continuing on a single drug afterward depending on their results.
