First seen Mar 10, 2026 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study tests a two-step approach for people with advanced esophageal cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. First, patients receive a combination of immunotherapy and chemotherapy. Then, based on how well the tumor responds, they get either the same drugs plus radiation or a different chemotherapy with radiation. The goal is to see if this personalized plan can help patients live longer without their cancer growing. The trial is currently recruiting 60 participants.
