First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests whether giving chemotherapy and immunotherapy before radiation works better than the usual chemoradiation for people with advanced esophageal cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. About 92 adults with stage III–IVA esophageal squamous cell carcinoma will be randomly assigned to one of two treatment plans. The goal is to see which approach leads to more complete tumor shrinkage and longer time without the cancer growing.
