New blood test could offer simpler way to monitor esophageal cancer

Summary
This study aims to see if a new blood test that measures DNA changes can tell doctors how well treatment is working for esophageal cancer. Researchers will enroll 300 patients who are about to start treatment and have not had prior cancer therapy. They will compare the blood test results to standard scans and other blood markers to see if it's a more accurate or faster way to monitor the disease.
