First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a drug called esketamine can improve sleep in postmenopausal women after they have surgery. Many women in this age group have trouble sleeping, and surgery can make it worse. The trial will give esketamine during surgery and check sleep quality and body rhythms afterward. It includes 164 women aged 45 and older having lower-limb fracture surgery.
