First seen Dec 26, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study looked at whether adding a low dose of esketamine to the usual sedative propofol helps people recover and leave the hospital sooner after a bronchoscopy (a scope used to examine the lungs). 246 adults scheduled for the procedure took part. The main goal was to see if more patients could be discharged within 30 minutes after the procedure with the combination drug approach.
