New hope for tough breast cancer: phase 3 trial of ESG401 launches

Summary
This study tests a new drug called ESG401 against standard chemotherapy for people with advanced triple-negative breast cancer that cannot be removed by surgery or has spread. About 504 participants will receive either ESG401 or a chemotherapy chosen by their doctor. The goal is to see if ESG401 can slow cancer growth and improve survival.
