First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests a non-surgical stomach-reduction procedure called endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty (ESG) in 30 obese adults with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). The goal is to see if weight loss from ESG improves liver fat and stiffness, along with overall health and quality of life. Participants are followed for 6 months to measure changes in liver health and body weight.
