First seen Mar 31, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a special set of care steps called an Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocol can help people recover faster after surgery for peritoneal carcinomatosis (cancer that has spread in the abdomen). About 300 people will take part across 20 hospitals in Italy. The main goal is to see if the ERAS plan reduces the number of days people stay in the hospital after their operation.
