NCT ID NCT07442643
First seen Mar 07, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tested two different approaches to help surgeons see better during arthroscopic rotator cuff repair. One method added epinephrine to the irrigation fluid, while the other used intravenous tranexamic acid. The trial involved 80 adults aged 18-70 with full-thickness rotator cuff tears. The main goal was to compare how well each method improved surgical field visibility, with additional measures on pump pressure, fluid use, and early swelling after surgery.
