Can epigenetic drugs make prostate tumors more vulnerable to the immune system?
NCT ID NCT06888102
First seen Nov 05, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This early-stage study tests whether giving an epigenetic therapy before prostate removal surgery is safe and can help the immune system better attack the cancer. About 20 men with high-risk prostate cancer will receive the drug before their scheduled prostatectomy. The main goals are to check for side effects and see if the treatment changes the tumor's gene activity.
