First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 36 times
Summary
This study tested whether adding enzalutamide to standard hormone therapy (ADT) helps Chinese men with prostate cancer that has spread and still responds to hormones. 180 participants received either enzalutamide plus ADT or a placebo plus ADT. The main goal was to see how long it took for PSA levels to rise, a sign of cancer progression. The approach aims to control the disease longer, not cure it, as ongoing treatment is needed.
