What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Ensartinib combined with pemetrexed and carboplatin
What this could lead to
If successful, this could lead to a new treatment option that shrinks ALK-positive lung tumors before surgery, potentially improving survival and reducing recurrence.
What could go wrong
This is an early-phase trial with only 20 participants, so results may not apply broadly. The combination therapy may cause side effects like nausea, fatigue, or low blood counts, and it may not work for everyone.
