Dental students learn better with real cases, study finds
NCT ID NCT07393724
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study compared case-based learning (CBL) to traditional lectures for teaching tooth reduction skills to 60 dental students. The CBL group attended four weekly 90-minute sessions focused on real clinical cases, while the control group received standard lectures. Researchers measured theoretical knowledge and practical skills to see which method worked better.
