New recovery protocol aims to speed healing after heart surgery

Summary
This study will test a set of recovery steps for people having heart surgery with a heart-lung machine. The goal is to see if following these steps helps patients wake up faster, have less pain, and leave the hospital sooner. About 92 adults will take part at one hospital in Canada.
