Summary
This study looked at how closely heart surgery patients followed a 24-step recovery plan. Researchers wanted to see if better compliance led to shorter hospital stays and fewer complications. Nearly 500 adults who had heart surgery took part. The goal was to find out why some steps are missed and how to improve recovery.
