NCT ID NCT07168109

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study tests whether a special lens setting during cataract surgery can improve vision for people with high myopia (severe nearsightedness). 66 adults will get an enhanced lens in both eyes, with one eye set for distance and the other for near vision. Researchers will compare this to the standard approach and track vision, reading ability, and glare over 12 months.
