Summary
This pilot study tested whether a virtual reality (VR) therapy could help reduce negative symptoms in people with schizophrenia, such as lack of motivation and social withdrawal. Thirty adults with schizophrenia were assigned to either 10 sessions of VR therapy or standard care. The main goal was to see if the VR approach was practical and well-liked by participants, with early signs of symptom improvement also measured.
