Summary

This study tests a single dose of a new drug called VNX001 to see if it quickly reduces moderate to severe bladder pain in people with interstitial cystitis (also called bladder pain syndrome). About 120 adults with a history of this condition will receive either VNX001, a placebo, or one of its active ingredients (lidocaine or heparin). The main goal is to measure pain relief over 12 hours using a simple 0-to-10 pain scale.
