First seen Mar 17, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looks at people with a rare type of small intestinal cancer that has spread and cannot be fully cured. It compares those who had surgery to remove the main tumor plus other treatments against those who had only other treatments. The goal is to see if surgery helps patients live longer and avoid future bowel blockages. The study will review medical records from across Europe to provide clearer guidance for doctors.
