Keyhole surgery may offer faster healing for achilles injuries

Summary

This study compares two surgical techniques for treating various Achilles tendon disorders, such as chronic tears and tendinopathy. Thirty participants will be randomly assigned to receive either an endoscopic (keyhole) or open surgery to transfer a nearby tendon. The goal is to see which method leads to better function, fewer wound complications, and quicker return to sports.
